Corporate Branding vs. Personal Branding
Branding is a very important part of any marketing campaign the company. No, I'm not talking about that thing they do for cattle so that everyone knows who they belong. I'm talking about branding, identity as a company or product takes.
The goal of corporate branding is to create a brand identity that is instantly recognized by a wide range of customers.
There are many examples of successful corporate branding. When you think of a big yellow "M" with round arches on top, what do you think? Chances are, you think of McDonald, the fast food giant.
When you think of a type of fabric you use to clean the nose, what do you think? You probably think of Kleenex. Kleenex, however, is in reality only one brand of fabric. Even if customers regularly buy other types of tissue, such as that made by Charmin, you still call it Kleenex.
These are examples of successful corporate branding campaigns. These have been so successful that they have transcended the field in which such company exists. The work has become synonymous with Kleenex tissue product, and McDonald is seen as the epitome of fast food restaurants around the world.
In recent years, this strategy has also taken a personal tone. There was a greater focus on what has become known as a personal branding. As a brand, we try to construct an identity, only instead of building an identity for a company, it does for an individual.
There are some similarities between corporate branding and personal branding, as well as some differences.
Visual aspects are important for both types of branding. Whether you are trying to build recognition for your company, or form an identity for yourself, having to do with marketing so attractive. In the case of corporate marketing, you will likely use color printing to deliver a bright picture and intriguing for your company. In personal branding, will be especially use of colorful language or actions, which have both visual aspects.
The main difference between the two is the usual approach adopted in each of them. In corporate branding, companies try to attract customers with a small object or product, and then to branch out that in every part of society, building brand recognition along the way. In personal branding, start with the general picture, however, and work your way down. First we try to give people an overview of you as a person, and then work on fine details as they become more comfortable.
Corporate brand has been around for generations, while the personal branding, at least as a concept is relatively new. However, they both play an important role in today's business market .......
