Best of Gaudí in Barcelona


Barcelona is a city in which there is always a lot to see: from its old town with Roman ruins and medieval monuments to their contemporary and modern, is not without attractions that lure visitors. One of its main attractions in the face of tourism is all the architectural footprint left Antonio Gaudí in the streets.

Gaudí was born in 1852, was the highest representative of Catalan Modernism and left his work scattered throughout Catalonia. His work integrates various craft techniques, woodworking, ceramics, stained glass and wrought iron, which can now be admired in most of its buildings.

Batlló House, meanwhile, has the peculiarity of having no straight line, even wavy walls are covered with glazed ceramic flakes in green and blue, reminiscent of the loins of a dragon.
