Dragon Ball: Legend of the Monkey King O Space Wars

Just saying "Dragon Ball" or "Dragon Ball", it is possible for anyone between 20 and 50 years in Japan, USA and much of Europe knows that I'm talking about. You may have followed closely in comic publications and television are younger and perhaps saw a replacement, or simply accompany their children during those years. And when we speak of this series, perhaps we are making the most honored of the Shonen genre.

What many may no longer remember, is your source. And although far behind, and sometimes tends to be brought to the series as a simple collection of martial arts fighting chain, which originally inspired its author, Akira Toriyama, was another Chinese novel called Journey to the West, which featured a character called Su Wukong (Monkey King). So much so that another character in the novel named Zhu Wuneng was a pig monster that is based on Oolong (the pig who had the ability to transform). In addition, the Chinese novel the characters accompanying a Buddhist monk. In Dragon Ball, the pilgrim in question would Bulma in their pursuit of magical spheres. The parallels are pretty obvious.

However, the series became so popular that Akira had no choice but to lengthen it, and "Monkey King" particular had to keep looking for years the dragon balls and facing increasing dangers, they clashed with their own Devil (Piccolo). And once they arrive here, or give a twist to the plot, or no where to continue. Thus arose Dragon Ball Z, Goku and not only became an alien who renounced their true origins and cruel, but the devil before he had to cease to be and become another alien species. This led to the series will focus on aliens and tours in the combat power of the characters, but the mastery of Akira allowed the dragon balls continue to have their importance, at least half of the series. At this point, and having beaten their peers, Goku had to fight a space tyrant named Freeza who claimed to be the most powerful in the universe. The fight was probably the most epic of all time. At least in the world of Dragon Ball.

And so I would stop and submit to the owner ... where's the Legend of the Monkey King? We were stuck in a whole Star Wars.

In any case, the series continued for nearly 150 chapters in 2 sagas, and if that was not enough had a sequel called Dragon Ball GT. This last part was made directly in animation (without sleeves), supervised creation of the genius but Toriyama. It would be unfair to say that happened without pain, the glory, but certainly it was not as lauded as above.

Fans have asked many times its contiuación, and even did the rumor of a supposed Dragon Ball AF who published the pictures, but they were also made by the fans.

Still, Dragon Ball is still alive. The fans never cease to publish web sites related to internet series. And take the opportunity to comment that both LBM Dragon Ball Z, as elsewhere in Spanish friends, we talk about all the details past, present and future.

Also published almost every year a new game on different platforms. In 2009 the American film made the film Dragon Ball Evolution, although it was the biggest fiasco related to the series. Currently being broadcast in several countries Dragon Ball Z Kai, a remake of the series with many corrections, which also has been removed padding that characterizes the Anime series.
