A simple 4 step approach to get Google to crawl your site Today Guaranteed!

Step 1 Get a Google Account Site Map

In order to create a Google sitemap account, cut and paste the following URL in your browser and follow the simple instructions

Step 2 Create a Sitemap

You can create your Sitemap or as an XML file or a TXT file. XML is the method PPreferred as Google can provide information on your website. You do not need to know XML to create a Google Sitemap. Google accepts simple text file containing URLs. Because the text files contain only a list of URLs, Google prefers that you use the Sitemap protocol so you can provide more information about your URLs. The text file must follow these guidelines:

The text file must have one URL per line. The URL can not contain embedded new lines.

You must specify the URL of Google attempts to crawl exactly as planned.

Each text file can contain a maximum of 50,000 URLs. If you site includes more than 50,000 URLs, you can split the list into multiple text files and submit each one separately.

The text file must use UTF-8. You can specify this when you save the file (for example, in Notepad, this is listed in the Encoding menu of the Save As dialog box).

The text file should not contain information other than a list of URLs.

The text file should contain no header or footer.

You can name the text file you want. Google recommends giving the file a. Text extension to identify it as a text file (for example, sitemap.txt).

You have to load the text file at the highest level directory you want search engines to crawl and make sure the URLs listed in the text file that is located in a top-level directory.
Step 3 load the site map to your web page

After you create a sitemap in XML or TXT file with the instructions in step 2 you would just upload it to your website by using FTP or Cpanel from your Web Host.

Step 4 Tell Google

The last step in this process is to tell Google Sitemap. Just log in to your Google site map and add the URL of you Site Map. Be sure and check a few hours later to make sure it loaded correctly. [Https :/ / www.google.com / webmasters / sitemaps / login]

Bonus Step 5

Once Google has read your Sitemap and crawled your site (usually 12-24 hours), you will receive a verification link next to your Sitemap name.
