Gone are the days

as well as the years

joy is lost

we had once

And the staff tonnage

are becoming less

because there is little that is

and much that is going

Close to a new year

aware of many things

lacking in many other

I do not know you could want

perhaps a bit of money

perhaps, peace

maybe a trip

I do remember

I guess a friend

Well the only thing worth

what really

You can not buy

It is the appreciation of someone

you really want

The end reaches the beginning

Roll the wheel again

The new year is approaching

and the old man goes

Suggesting my appetite

want to re-

Much of the old I

or aspiring to change

In my life I can

I really serve

to change my character

to understand others

Of the other: patience

A little humility

lots of love

and much good will
