Website Blunders - Do not use FrontPage Themes
Front Page Themes consist of standardized designs and color schemes that take into account the use of navigation bars, fonts, bullets and components of other websites. While the themes in the first page can give a uniform appearance to the site do not give a very professional look to your site. Sites that use all the themes tend to have the same look sweet.
Many people are familiar with the designs on the front page because they are commonly used by amateurs when creating personal web sites. The use of these themes will mark your site as professional and some people suspicious about your business.
When designing your website you should try to make it look as professional as possible but functional and unique. The best and easiest way to accomplish this is to use templates to design websites. The models are now available in many varieties so finding one to suit your company should be easy.
Before choosing a model for the structure of the site to spend some time looking at other web sites. Note what you like and what you do not like on some sites. Make a list of things you think a professional look on a website. Also note things like browsing, links, and color schemes. Take note of where you'd like to see some features on the page. Make a sketch of what your ideal home would look like.
Now you have a fairly accurate idea of what to look for in a model. You can look through the patterns until you find one that incorporates most of the features and colors. While you can make changes to the models that are easier to use as is. One of the first things visitors will notice is the color scheme used. Try to make one that stands still is not flashy or showy. Find a model that has the right amount of pre-link buttons for you.
When looking for a pattern of trying to find one that looks professional and fits into the philosophy and the product it sells. Learn about the different colors. Blue and green are usually soothing colors while red and orange colors are active. Light colors are more mundane, while the brighter colors tend to be more memorable. Ensure that the name of the company can adequately adjust the spaces assigned and that you have enough buttons to link the necessary functions. Finally, consider the general appearance of the site and choose a model that best reflects your company .......
