Apple and Almond Pastry
This apple and almond pastry is like an apple pie, made on a thin layer of pastry. Which is certainly a delicious dessert. To decorate the cake, candied cherries will, but if you do not like are totally expendable.
Ingredients Apple and Almond Pastry:
4 blocks golden.1 pastry plate (frozen, fresh or homemade). Blanco.1 brown sugar / 2 teaspoon of almendra.1 canela.Almendra limón.6 molida.Granillo confitadas.50 cherry gr. of mantequilla.50 ml. of water.
Extend the pastry, so that it is a very thin rectangular sheet. Peel the apples, cored them, cut them in half and cut into thin slices, then sprinkle with the lemon juice. A reserve for the apple compote. Cut pastry plate in six, or the size that best suits you, depending on number of guests you have. We cover each serving with apple slices, then place the ground almonds and sprinkle with the two types of sugar and cinnamon, finally we can decorate with candied cherries.
Preheat oven and bake the pastry at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown. While the pastry is done, we take to make the compote, with apple prints we have booked and two tablespoons of white sugar, all in a pan with 50 gr. butter and 50 ml. water, heated on the fire until it is broken (we can also do it in the microwave) when the apple is completely undone will be ready. We took the pastry from the oven, the paint with the compote, let us temper and you can delight with its unique flavor.
